1 Minute Speech on Independence Day

On this auspicious day, we all gather together to celebrate an important event of our great country – India’s Independence Day. On August 15, 1947, our country was freed from the bondage of British rule and the tricolor flag was hoisted. We achieved independence by ending almost two hundred years of British rule.

Every year, when we raise our flag and sing our national anthem, the sacrifices made by our ancestors are remembered or acknowledged. He faced the Kathaniyans and fought bravely to gain freedom. His vision was to create a country where every citizen could live with dignity, without any kind of pressure and discrimination.

Independence Day reminds citizens of their responsibilities. This is our opportunity to follow the basic principles of justice, equality and freedom. It challenges us to work toward a society where everyone has the opportunity to pursue their dreams regardless of their circumstances.

Today, as we admire our country, we must also consider the challenges that lie ahead. We have to address social inequality, protect our environment and promote a culture of unity in diversity. Our freedom was won through unity, and it is only through unity that we can overcome anyone.

Let us pledge that we will be responsible citizens, protect our democracy, and live up to the values of our Constitution to guide our country. Independence Day is not just a festival; Yes, a call to action, a reminder of our responsibility to protect the freedoms we hold dear.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, “You must be the change you want to see in the world.” Let us create that change, and together we can create a brighter, more inclusive and prosperous future for our great country.

Best wishes for Independence day! Jai Hind!
